The temp was 24 degrees when I took this photo, so these berries were frozen treats for the birds. This photo also brought back memories of an earlier conversation I had this year with my 'second' mother. She told me that the holly berry bushes bearing so much meant that we were in for a harsh winter. I guess Mother Nature knows what she is doing!Tuesday, January 27, 2009
