#262 Road/Street

I was afraid to spend much time on this road because I am already afraid that I am on the road to the poorhouse! You think it would be easy to sell a house on this road?

  1. That's definitely an inauspicious name for a street. It's not an address I'd like to have. Great catch.

  2. That made me smile! I am glad I don't have a listing on Poorhouse rd! LOL

  3. Now if you can find the corner of Poorhouse and Easy Street, Karen will snap up the listing. Great take.

  4. Really makes you wonder how some developers or city planners come up with names. Bet there are a bunch of hackneyed jokes about living in that neighborhood.

  5. I think that it would be funny to "literally" live on Poorhouse.

  6. I kinda like that name - much more unique than Elm St. or Main St.

  8. My husband is convinced we're already living there - especially since we just finished some renovations but still have some necessary repairs still to be done. We do have an Easy Street not far from us and whenever I drive by I think how funny it would be to be able to say "I'm living on Easy Street" to friends and family. Good capture on this shot!

  14. LOL I wonder how many times the people on Poorhouse Rd have to say, "It really is where I live" when giving out their addresses. I think it's rather unique, I'd live there! : )
