A typewriter at Victoria High School. I guess the principal's secretary used it to type letters to send home with the 'bad' students. This keyboard is a lot different than the one I'm using now!

This apple was on the principal's desk. It fooled me into thinking it was real with the dew drops on it. I realized it wasn't real when I picked it up.

Steve and I attended his high school reunion this past weekend. His alumni association actually owns their high school. The high school was going to be torn down a number of years after Steve graduated. The alums raised enough money to buy the school and preserve it. We toured the building and this is the principal's office. One of his classmates remarked that it seems smaller than he remembered it. I've had the same feeling when I went back to my school.

Kudos to the US Navy Blue Angels. They performed for us at the 2009 Wings over Wayne Seymour Johnson Air Show. Thanks to all of our military for serving and doing what I don't have the guts to do!

I hadn't seen a daffodil like this before. I showed this picture to my Mom and asked her what was it called? Her reply, "scrambled eggs". I gave her a funny look and said, "what?" She told me yes, that is what they called them back home.
